Saturday Discussion !!!!!

One good thing about weekends is , you can be relaxed in doing things....wish i could have weekends all the time...but that is a seperate discussion ,which i will do it....now will give some info on the topic that we had this morning....this may not be a interesting topic but still it helped us to recollect our good old school days...:-))

dont know how we started this discussion, but i am not going to get into that.....How we got to know about computers ......

So we went back to the old school days , where we first came to know about it...

That was a thursday and we (me and my classmates ) were so excited with that annoncement ....(could not recollect , which standard i was in that time......)...Our timetable was put up on the board with a new subject added.. the subject was "Computer "... From that time , we all began to discuss about that period...Nobody had any idea , other than that it was about computers...:D

There was a new class room which was set up, and we saw computers being put up in that room..Then the day came , with computer period on the timetable..... We were told to come in line, with an instruction that we should remove our shoes.... We were excited for 2 things... One is computer, with which we are going to play with .....the other one is AC....(that is the only classroom which had Air Conditioner..:-)))))

Our class was divided into groups , with 2 students per group.... our teacher gave us some indroduction about switching it on .... As soon as we entered , it was different exp to see monitors with green cursor on to it.....I think we started with BASIC....which was taught to us...

There was another problem......who has to enter the program (BASIC) which was given to us....we generally come to an conclusion, where we will divide the no of lines in the program , and enter the same.... hurray....we have sucessfully completed the program and got a square drawn .. ....even after the class is over , nobody were willing to go out of that room....but with no other choice , we came out of the room.....:-(((

This was how we started using the computers.......so much importance were given to it , and we nearly treated it so sacred........but the present scenario is totally different..... We have 4 laptops (Each of us have one) in our house (here in london), sometimes kept in Bed , or table or in the centre of our living room........................Life..................

This is just a part one of the discussion that we had today morning....I have to start cooking ...so signing offf......

A Fact :

Canada is an Indian word meaning "Big Village"......

Language !!!!!!!

This has been in my mind for long....very long time ....will give it a try to put it here the thoughts i have on this topic......

India has always been better than any other countries in the world , purely becoz of its unity in diversity matter.....Here u have different culture , different languages and yet proudly called as One Nation....

When u say languages , it is the next big thing in any nation , as that is the medium for people to communicate with each other..... I am sure , in this regards , we have a great problem.....As a nation with many many languages , we are sure to face lot of problems in our daily day to day life...

you may ask me , what problem can we face , when we have something called national language...fine i accept it ...but do we really say Hindi does act as a national language ???
we take it or not ,. the answer is no......Even today , many doesnot know the national language , which is very vital for a common communication across the country.....If i go to any other place other my own state , i have to or forced to talk in English...the one that most of the country understands..... I am sure , we cant blame the people , who havnt learned it , but the law , which does not make it clear that national language should be learnt..........

I am not very sure , how Hindi was selected as National language , but it triggered lot of problems amoung many....it is obvious that people will love or like to communicate only through their mothertongue than other language.... this was the reason that law did not force everybody to learn Hindi.....But i feel atleast it should have been made compulsory atleast to learn it.......

Many problems now arise due to difference in states...the main difference between the states is Language.... I still feel , India should have got only provinces , it used to have before independence..and not like now , where it has been divided with respect to languages......Northies doesnt like southies and vice versa......all due to difference in languages....

Now , i am not here to say that everything is wrong , but i want to go around India , and communicate with everybody without any hindrance, having a common medium , instead of different language every 100 kms, that i travel.......An hindi speaking guy is keen to learn German or Japanese but doesnt even think to learn Tamil or any other Indian language...the same with a Tamil , who wants to learn any foreign language but not Indian language.....I can hear u saying , that only limited no of people doesnt Hindi , while majority knows.....but what about the minority???

The solution for this problem is what Cho Ramasamy told in Mohammad Bin Thuklak ..."If i select Hindi as national language , Tamils wont agree..which is fair , as they want their language to be national ....If i select Tamil as national language , Telugu wont accept ..so the best would be to select one language which none understand in India , so that everybody will start learning....so our national language is Parsi "................

Pls let me know ur views and comments on the same......

Romantic ones !!!!!!!!

Romantic 1st lines...and deadly 2nd ones

The most romantic first lineA local newspaper ran a competition asking for a rhyme with the mostromantic first line... but the least romantic second line. Here are some of the entries they received.
I thought that I could love no other
Until, that is, I met your brother.

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

Of loving beauty you float with graceIf only you could hide your faceKind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not

I want to feel your sweet embrace
But don't take that paper bag off of your face

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes -
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life

I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe "go to hell"

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime

Resignation !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Forward ....Enjoyyyyyy !!!

Employee Resignation

Poetic Resignation

The name is good, the brand is big

But the work I do is that of a pig

The work or the brand; what is my way?

I don't know if I should stay.

To work, they have set their own way

Nobody will care to hear what I say

My will be NULL, they wont change their way

I don't know if I should stay.

The project is in a critical stage

But to do good work, this is the age

This dilemma is killing me day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The money is good, the place is great

But the development is at a very small rate

Should I go for the work, or wait for pay

I don't know if I should stay!

The managers don't know what they talk

The team doesn't know where they walk

That's a bad situation, what say?

I don't know if I should stay.

I can go to any other place

But what if I get the same disgrace

I can't keep switching day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The -ves are more, the +ves are less

Then why have this unnecessary mess

No more will I walk their way,

It's all done, I won't stay.

Thanks & Regards

Employee

Manager Response

Reply: What I want to say? (Manager)

The decision is good or decision is bad

Only God knows still I am glad

Keep moving in life that is what I can say

If you feel right go in the same way

May god give you the work, the challenge you want

Anyway there is always a second chance

Chances are there, grab them snatch them

That is what I can say

Keep on jumping companies to get more and more and more....

That will keep you always a fore (Even to me)

From my experience I can tell you

Being in software development is like taking hell out of you

You are frustrated since you have no quality work

And you were frustrated because you had quantity work

It's always like that previous job was better than the current one

And expects the new job will be much better than this one

But what you get is a frustration level up to sun

Than you will again send the resignation like this one

This is all what I want to say

Have you completed all the formalities?

Filled the form and got it signed from department humanities (HR)

Once done you can take all your cash

But don't refer others as they will follow you're a*s.

At last I appreciate your contribution to the company

Even tough there was not any....

You will keep a copy of this with you for FYI

Don't feel shy

As I also got it some time back from my old manger say Hi....

That is all what I want to say.

Thanks & Regards

Manager

Kavidhai 2 Nee - Naan !!!!!

" Suttu viralai Neeyum Kattai viralai Naanum
Sernthu ezhuthum ethuvum Kavidhaiyaga Maarum ".....

Correct guess of this song will get a prize :-))) (this is really not a hit song .,.so it will be very difficult )

" Nee Kaatru Naan Maram
Enna sonnalum thalai aatuven "

This is one of the wonderful song with brilliant lyrics from Vairamuthu... I always treasure this song for its lyrics...
